Imagine the 1993 film Cool Runnings, about the first Jamaican bobsled team, but instead of feisty Jamaican underdogs, it’s a family of Bigfoots. That is not what is happening in this edition of Myersvision.
But my title is not totally misleading! There is some sledding. And there are—possibly—some Bigfoots (Bigfeet?).
I don’t have much more by way of introduction today, so I’m going to turn it over to our resident cryptozoologist, Audre Myers:
Fascinating video that has not been plastered all over the Internet. While the footage is from 2011, it’s new to me and that’s refreshing. In the interest of transparency, I have to tell you I’m a mom, a grandma, and a great-grandma, so on first viewing, I was distracted enjoying the kids sledding – memories of my own kids back in the day. So I just watched the kids and then viewed the video again to pay attention to the information provided by analyst.
Be aware; any time a video or photo is enhanced, the image itself becomes distorted – hence the blurriness. It can, I admit, give you a headache but I have to look at an image like that for quite some time before I start to get that headache. However, I am a martyr and willing to suffer for my search (wink). Please watch the video to the end and the ‘conclusions’ section.
While I don’t agree with all of the conclusions, I have to admit that they are thoughtful and documented and I applaud that effort. I’m very interested in your thoughts on this video and the information provided.

You could work for a major news corporation, with that title you’ve used. LOL!

Inconclusive. Until one of these are shot and killed for examination, it could be someone in a suit.

I certainly understand your assessment but I pray it doesn’t come to that.

It wouldn’t be good to kill one of course, but how else can humans know for sure…

A good, if lethal, point. Gulp!

Thanks, I grew up around deer hunting which makes shooting something like that much less bothersome for me. I hope no guy in a hairy suit gets shot.

To prevent guys in gorilla suits from getting shot, we need to set up tons of traps. Mwahahahaha!

I saw an interview with two young men -late 20s, early 30s – being interviewed by a local news team. They were all hyped, being interviewed and all. The interviewer asked them to recount their bigfoot encounter. So, all jazzed up, “we were walking in the woods, guns loaded … ” but as they laid out the story for the tv camera, they started to settle down and get a little more serious. Finally, the interviewer asked,”Why didn’t you shoot it???” The one young man said, quietly, “It turned and looked back.” Why didn’t you shoot it? the interviewer asked again. The other young man said, softly, “We couldn’t shoot it – It looked like us”. Gave me chills.

It was a good decision by the boys to not fire at the creature. That Look Back would make me think twice too…

Whoa! That is powerful.

It seems like the perfect proof received in the best possible way outside of capturing one live would be finding a recently deceased Bigfoot that you could study.

That could be a tall man in a hair suit. This is such a hot topic for some people.

Very interesting. 🌺 As a sidenote, I never thought about bigfoot(s) plural. Bigfeet, as you said? That’s interesting to me, too. 😀

Bigfoots. Like sheep – one is a sheep and a flock is sheep. But ‘foots’ sound a lot funnier.

LOLOL Yes, that is right! 😀 🌺😂

Haha, yes. I like to write “Bigfeet” sometimes because I know how wrong it sounds, haha. Like calling multiple mice “meeces.”
