Phone it in Friday XLIX: YouTube Roundup V

My YouTube channel keeps getting better and better (I think), and I don’t want you, my dear and devoted readers, to miss out on the fun.

This week’s installment of YouTube Roundup features another piece of original music; a quick tour of my dusty kitchen windowsill; and a very long video about building one of France’s greatest monuments (after a fashion).

Scribblings II: Epiphany

“Scribblings II: Epiphany” is a an expansion on a brief musical idea I jotted down into my music journal on 6 January 2024—Epiphany. It’s a fun, quick, and fairly easy piano solo to celebrate the last day of the Christmas season.

Kitchen Window Bric-a-Brac Tour

A very rushed tour of all the toys and bric-a-brac and miniatures hanging out on the windowsill above my kitchen sink, which I really need to dust.

dovob Arc de Triomphe Build and Review

My older brother gave me the dovob Arc de Triomphe for Christmas, and I sat down around 6:30 AM on Thursday, 28 December 2023 to build this beauty.  I finished around 2:15 PM the same day, with only about forty-five minutes of breaks.  The video below is my detailed build process and review.

The kit is currently marked down to $30 on Amazon, with an additional 20% off coupon. You can pick it up here: https://amzn.to/3RZq6Ev

highly recommend it, even with a few missing pieces.

Happy Viewing!
