Well, Christmas has passed, but I choose to believe that the Christmas season lasts until Epiphany, so we’re going to keep the good times rolling with a look back at some pieces from this recently-expired Christmas week:
- “Memorable Monday Morning Movie Review: It’s a Wonderful Life (1946)” – A look back at one of my favorite Christmas films.
- “Wayback Wednesday: Christmas Eve” – A meditation on Christmas Eve.
- “TBT^4: Napoleonic Christmas” (and “TBT^2: Napoleonic Christmas“; “TBT: Napoleonic Christmas“; and “Napoleonic Christmas“) – Jesus > Napoleon!
Merry Christmas!

I agree on the length of Christmas though a few years ago, I extended that to when one runs out of Christmas booze and food! Our decorations may come down before January 6th but there are still Christmas chocolates and biscuits and booze to be consumed. Yum! 😄
That said, I’m taking a leaf out of your 2025 book. After all, I don’t want to look like a festive blimp in our wedding photos! 😉

Woooooooooooooooot! Congratulations, dude! Enjoy the indulgent Christmas season, then when the booze and biscuits and chocolates run out, get back on a lean diet. That’s my plan!
