Phone it in Friday LVI: YouTube Roundup XII: Bull Terrier Edition, Part IV

My humble YouTube channel continues to grow (121 subscribers at the time of writing) thanks to Murphy‘s popularity.  She loves the camera, and the people love Murphy.

Bull Terrier Objects to Sloppiness

Murphy endures a great deal of squalor and sloppiness thanks to my poor housekeeping.

Bull Terrier Transfixed by Broccoli Plant

Apparently, some bull terriers “trip out” when they rub their backs against things.  I don’t think Murphy has this characteristic, but she certainly seemed to lose herself among the dewy petals of my lovely, overgrown broccoli plant.

Bull Terrier Embraces Domesticity

Murphy enjoys the finer things in life, but especially the couch.

Happy Viewing!

  1. Well done on your YouTube channel picking up. Tiny acorns and all that. 👍😄

In the none too distant future, I’ll be looking at reviewing 2 games we started simultaneously; one of them, Audre will love and the other, which I think is superb, she wouldn’t touch with a thousand mile barge pole – these are Alone in the Dark and Cyberpunk 2077.

Alone in the Dark is a mystery game starring a quirky as always David Harbour and Cyberpunk 2077 is an action/RPG set in a really messed up future. This game came out in 2020 and we’ve only just got around to playing it; the other came out 2 days ago.

I’ll send Tremors and The Fly when I get around to writing them. We’re still Spring cleaning, amongst other things.

    • Thank you, my friend! I am trying. I find that I enjoy creating short Murphy videos quite a bit, and people love them.

Which _Alone in the Dark_ are you reviewing? I remember playing the original one back in the 1990s. It’s amazing how those early 3D polygonal graphics could be so terrifying! I haven’t played _CP2077_, but really want to do so. Last night I started out _Disco Elysium_ and am hooked.

Take your time, my friend. Get your house in order. I’ll do the same with mine! It is in desperate need of both cleaning and decluttering.

      • I didn’t play the original. Tina did, in fact, I think we have it somewhere. No, the version we started was remade for the PS5 and came out on Wednesday.

Cyberpunk is amazing. Like GTA5 but set in the future – the graphics and detail are better, there’s more to do and the role playing options are unreal. The reason I say Audre wouldn’t like it is it’s pretty debauched – s€x, violence, bad language, the lot. That said, it examines ideas I remember from the 95 movie Strange Days; humans bio-connected to technology. Even though the prospect of that scares the hell out of me, the subject is fascinating. Keanu Reeves plays one of the main characters in it (not the playable one) and his character is, well, not the sort you’d usually associate with Reeves.

Disco Elysium I haven’t heard of but I’ll have a look.
