It seems that Murphtent (Murphy content) on my humble YouTube channel is no longer putting up the big numbers like it once did, and subscribers have settled in around 143 (at the time of writing—Wednesday, 15 May 2024). It’s also difficult to come up with new ideas for videos about a dog who basically eats, sleeps, eats grass, sleeps in a different position, eats poop, sleeps some more in some other weird spot, and complains about not getting enough to eat. Still, she’s a cutie pie, and I love her chunkiness to death—-even if she doesn’t make me Internet rich.
That said, Murphy continues to be a source of adorable haughtiness in a world full of bad news and bad ideas. This week, I’ve got Murphy sleeping in an odd position; Murphy trying to play it cool; and Murphy sleeping in a cute way.
Bull Terrier Sleeps in Unorthodox Position
It never ceases to amaze me how many weird positions my dog can contort herself in and still be comfortable. I also really need to do laundry!
Bull Terrier Plays it Cool
Murphy tries to play it cool to get some additional treats and/or affection out of me. A classic diva move. She’s definitely a woman.
Bull Terrier Sleeps Cutely
And like most women and all children (which, despite her advanced age, Murphy functionally is), she is super cute when she sleeps or is drowsy.
Thanks for watching these self-indulgent videos about my very self-indulgent dog. It seems we are made for each other.
Happy Viewing!

She’s really adorable ❤️.
I think it would help that you upload videos in landscape for YouTube, unless you’re doing shorts. I did not have the time to look at the videos in this post, just leaving a quick comment.
However, I know what it’s like to have a channel with low views. My channels are on hiatus at the moment and have been for years with far less views and subscribers than you have.

Thank you! She is a chunky cutie pie.
Thank you, too, re: the landscape tip. These videos are intended to be shorts, which is why they’re shot in portrait; otherwise, I always film in landscape (unless I forget—ha!).
It’s odd—her shorts were getting hundreds of views just a month ago; lately, they’ve only been getting dozens. Oh, well! I just enjoy putting up videos of her canine shenanigans.
If you get a chance, check out my YouTube channel; I think you’ll enjoy all the Murphy shorts: https://www.youtube.com/@tjcookmusic/

The real money is in cat videos. You need a feline that tears up your stuff and climbs your Christmas tree. Misery for you, but comedy for the rest of us.

Isn’t all comedy, in part, tragedy? I’d love to have a cat, but no one wants to watch a video of a 75-pound bull terrier ripping a tabby to shreds, which would be the result of me bringing a cat home (of course, I wouldn’t *have* to film the carnage, but…).

P.S.—I wanted to let you know how much I have appreciated and enjoyed your blog. For some reason, WordPress and its Happiness Engineers won’t let me comment over there, but know that you are being read and enjoyed.
