Shockingly, I haven’t done an installment of YouTube Roundup since August 2023.  Since then, I’ve uploaded a ton of content, so it’s time to catch up on some videos.

I’ve selected three videos for this YouTube Roundup, all of a different type.  There’s a piece of music; a toy construction video; and something completely frivolous and fun:

“Listless Chorale”

I uploaded “Listless Chorale” almost as an afterthought—I needed something to fill in for an installment of Open Mic Adventures—and this thirty-four-second chorale has nearly 300 views as of the time of writing.  Whoa!  I wish something good I’d composed had garnered this many views:

Mega® Bloks Pokémon™ Butterfree

I’m 99% a LEGO® loyalist, but I couldn’t resist Mega® Bloks Pokémon™ build of Butterfree, one of my favorite Mega® Bloks Pokémon™.  I picked it up for half-off shortly before Christmas, and it was worth every penny at that price point.

This video is a detailed overview of the build, and includes my off-the-cuff musings on the subtle but noticeable differences between LEGO® and Mega® Bloks.

While I prefer LEGO®, this build was super fun. I wouldn’t buy the full MSRP for it, but at around $33, it was an excellent value for the quality and detail of the build, as well as the time I spent putting it together (about two hours in total).

Minecraft Mug

I got this cool Minecraft mug for Christmas–it changes color as it heats up! There are two versions of the video demonstrating the mug.  Here’s the short:

Unfortunately, I could not find this exact mug on Amazon, but I did find this fun Creeper mug that changes color.
